Acquisitional pragmatics focuses on how children acquire and develop various aspects of pragmatics at different stages of language development. In this website, you will find examples of pragmatic development from my son, Gabriel at 17 months age. Gabriel is a bilingual speaker who is now 10 years old, speaks Spanish with his parents at home and English outside of the home. Samples from Gabriel's development include natural conversations (audio/video) recorded at home with his parents performing various activities such as eating, playing, reading, bathing, etc.
